ABATEMENT BUILDING DEMOLITION PROJECT

Sealed bids will be received until 9:30 A.M., March 27, 2017 at the County Engineer’s office at 635 2nd Street SE, Milaca, MN, at which time bids will be opened and read in Conference Room D (Lower Level) at the Historic Courthouse for the following project:

SAP 048-622-009 (CSAH 22) (0.01 Miles) located 2000’ Feet east of USTH 169. Approximate
major quantities include: clear and grub-lump sum, assess and abate regulated materials (four buildings)-lump sum, remove septic system-4 each, abandon and seal well shaft-3 each; remove building (three buildings)-lump sum; turf establishment and erosion control-lump sum.

Prospective bidders must obtain bidding documents from the County Engineer at 635 2nd Street SE, Milaca, MN 56353, or from the Mille Lacs County Website. Bids will only be accepted from those who are a documented plan holder. Proposals shall be submitted on the form provided in the bidding documents.

Copies of the bidding documents are available for viewing and / or purchase at the County Engineer’s office. There is no cost for the bidding documents. Bidders may elect to have the bidding documents shipped to them for a fee. A shipping charge of $25 will apply for each set of documents shipped (i.e. USPS, UPS, etc.) Bidding documents can also be viewed and downloaded online, visit the Mille Lacs County website at http://www.co.mille-lacs.mn.us/, and go to the Department Tab / Public Works / Projects for Bid/E-Gram.

All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidders’ bond payable to the County Auditor/Treasurer of Mille Lacs County for at least 5% of the proposal. The County reserves the right to waive any bid for non-conformity with the bidding process, or all bids at its discretion. Alternately, the County may waive minor non-conformities at their discretion.
